In Los Angeles were very lucky to have year round riding and these canyons nearby.

Canyons west of Rock Store overview map with links here...

Canyons east of Rock Store overview map with links here...

Mulholland stretches for miles and ranges from fast sweepers on the portion east of Rock Store towards Malibu Canyon and Old Topanga Canyon to tight twisties west of Rock Store toward PCH. From Malibu Canyon to the end at PCH it is probably around 30 miles long, with another 10 east of Malibu Canyon to Old Topanga. Here's a shot from just west of Rock Store looking east.

West end of Mulholand

Piuma Canyon starts from Malibu Canyon and heads up about 8 miles of nice twisty road then descends about a mile to a turn off called Schueren Rd (sharp left at T intersection) up another 3 miles of twisty roads to Saddle Ridge. There is a great spot to stop and rest here with Stunt Rd, Schueren and Saddle Ridge all being nice twisty roads to ride.

Another section of Piuma Rd.

Lower part of Piuma Rd.

Saddle Ridge east is a great road with some tight twisty sections but is only about 3 miles long, ending at a T intersection with Fernwood to the left and Tuna Canyon to the right. Tuna is another 7 miles of tight twisties but the last 2/3rds is one-way traffic heading down only making it more fun to ride. Newly repaved also adds to the fun. Bottom mile can be dirty and gravel strewn though. Drops you at PCH. .

Tuna Canyon-one way traffic going down only

Stunt Rd is shorter at 6 miles and has mostly fast sweepers witha few tighter turns thrown in. Ends at Mulholland.
There are many more; I'll keep adding them as I collect the photos...

Latigo Canyon, 10.5 miles (not the best picture but you get the idea)
